Random team generator

How it works
- Enter names – one per line.
- Choose the number of teams or people per team.
- Click “Make teams” – reshuffle if you like.
Frequently asked questions
Are the teams the same size?
Yes, as even as possible. If it doesn’t divide evenly, some teams get one extra person.
Can I copy the result?
Yes. “Copy” puts all teams as text on your clipboard – e.g. for WhatsApp.
Is “Team generator” free?
Yes, completely free – no sign-up, no app and no limits.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Everything works in any modern browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, Mac and smartboards.
Are my entries stored?
Only locally in your browser, so they are still there next time. Nothing is sent to our server.
